I release a large collection about once a quarter, but sometimes release a few items each month. Most bandanas and Mouse Ears styles are LIMITED, and are typically not restocked once they sell out (with a few exceptions). Waterproof collars and leashes are always in stock. Vests are always in stock.

Yes! A size chart is included in the last photo of each product, or in the actual menu for size choices. Please note these are only estimates. For the best fit, please make sure to include your dog’s measurements (especially for vests).
Our bandanas are designed to be rolled from the top down 1-3 times (depending on the size of your dog) then tied once and snapped. If you need the bandana to be tighter around your dog’s neck you can tie the bandana twice before snapping it.
Hand wash in cold water (may add a little detergent and rise clear if desired) and lay flat to dry to avoid shrinking. May iron if needed.
Swish your product around a bucket of soapy water, rinse clean and air dry. For stubborn areas use a gentle wet cloth, rub with soap and rinse clean. For hardware specific cleaning directions see below.
Important: The majority of our waterproof product are made ONLY with stainless steel or solid brass hardware AND Chicago screws. The ONLY exceptions are the buckle and adjuster piece on 1″ side release collars, the adjuster piece on classic martingales, and the clasps on our keychains and e-collars. These are the only items containing nickel, so please follow the cleaning directions below for your specific hardware.
Stainless Steel: STOP! Make sure you are not cleaning your plated nickel side release collar with these instructions. Go to the last section if you are. Now, if you to clean your stainless steel hardware follow these instructions.
There are a few ways to clean Stainless Steel, but here’s one way with ingredients found in the home. Mix one tablespoon baking soda with 2 cups of water to make a paste (adjust water as needed). Rub the mixture on the tarnished/rusted areas with a cloth. Rinse clean. You can repeat and let the mixture sit for up to 30 minutes if necessary then rinse clean.
Solid Brass: STOP! Make sure you are not cleaning your plated brass side release collar with these instructions. Go to the next section if you are. Now, if the SOLID brass hardware on a product starts to look a little dingy or greenish, it might be time for a deep clean.
There are a few ways to clean brass, but here’s one way with ingredients found in the home. Combine the juice of half a lemon with one teaspoon of baking soda. Make a paste and apply it with a soft cloth. Let it sit for up to 30 minutes, and rinse with warm water, and dry. Can be repeated if necessary.
Nickel: Our products were redesigned in March 2020, and ONLY the buckle and adjuster piece on 1″ side release collars, the adjuster piece on classic martingales, and the clasps on our keychains and e-collars contain nickel. To clean these parts of our products, follow the directions below.
Take 1 tsp salt and 1/2 cup white vinegar. Add just enough flour to make a paste. Rub a thin coating on the areas, let sit for up to 10 minutes, then rub gently off and rinse clean.
Shipping + Order Info
Turnaround time for all products is between 5-7 business days. Turnaround time is the day you place your order until the day we ship it out. This does not include holidays and weekends, or shipping time! Choosing priority mail DOES NOT mean that you will receive your order in 2 days.
USPS First Class shipping is available for orders that weigh less than 16 ounces. It costs $3-$5, and arrives in 2-4 business days (no guarantee).
USPS Priority Mail is available for orders of any weight and costs $7+ and arrives in 1-3 business days (guaranteed). Orders over $150 Choosing Priority mail does NOT mean that your item will be made faster than our turnaround time.
USPS First Class Mail International typically costs $9-$20 ($12 is common) and takes 7-21 business days. In some locations shipping may take up to 6 weeks.
USPS Priority Mail International, typically takes 6-10 business days. The price will go up significantly and will depend heavily on the weight of your items and your location.
International orders may not include tracking or a guaranteed delivery date depending on your location.
In accordance with the law, all international orders will have the full declared value on customs form. Please be aware of your countries duties, fees, VAT taxes, and other charges. These fees are not included in the price of the item or the shipping costs, and are the customer’s responsibility. The Atomic Hound is not responsible for these charges, and are not able to refund you for these charges.
Each order will ship out with tracking information. When you receive your shipping confirmation email, you will also receive the tracking info. Just click on the link to follow your order!
Email is the best way to reach us. If you haven’t yet received a shipping confirmation, the likelihood that we can cancel or change it is better but still not guaranteed.
Please note we are not responsible for incorrect addresses that have already shipped. We cannot refund the item or re-send new items free of charge. Make sure to DOUBLE check your shipping address.
First, please make sure that you received an initial order confirmation email. If you received your email, that means you successfully placed an order with us! If you didn’t, your order may not have gone through. If you were charged, but didn’t receive a confirmation email, please contact us.
Next, please check when you placed your oder. If you placed your order more than 7 business days ago, your order should have shipped. In that case, please check to see if you received a shipping confirmation. If not, please contact us.
Finally, if you have received a shipping notification, please check the status of your order through the link you were emailed with your shipping tracking information. Your order may still be out for delivery. If your tracking information says your order was delivered, but you still don’t have your order, please contact us.
The Atomic Hound is responsible for shipping until the tracking information states “Delivered” or “Notice Left”.
If you (the buyer) claim that your package was not received, but the tracking states that the package was delivered, The Atomic Hound is no longer responsible. In this case YOU, the buyer, can reach out to USPS.
Occasionally packages will be lost by USPS (the tracking info never says delivered or notice left), and in that case we will work on filing a claim with you.
Additionally, The Atomic Hound, is NOT responsible for incorrect addresses. If however, you put the correct shipping address, but we, or our system, made a mistake, we will take responsibility.
We ship everything with specific packages to protect against damage. In the unlikely circumstance that your package arrives damaged, please contact us with documentation.
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you have 30 days from receiving the item to return your item for a full refund. We offer FREE return shipping, with prepaid shipping labels (we do not refund original shipping). Please note we are not able to offer free return shipping for international orders.
Once we receive your item, we will process your return by 5 business days and refund the full product amount to your account. We do not offer exchanges or store credit.
