Proper Sizing For The 1″ Adventure Dog Collar
First make sure that your e-collar receiver requires a 1″ width strap!
Then measure your dog’s neck with a soft tape measure to find the right collar size. The tape measure should be high on the neck where the e-collar is placed and very snug.
Choose the drop down size that matches the measurement for your dog’s neck size from your measurement above.
The collar will be designed with the extra length needed to fit the receiver box onto the collar. If you have an old e-collar collar DO NOT measure the length from the hole you used without the box on the collar…this will result in the wrong measurement. Please choose your dog’s ACTUAL neck size from your earlier measurement and we will make the calculations for the length needed for the receiver.
Each collar has 5 holes that are half an inch apart. The middle hole on the collar will be the neck length you chose and there will be 1″ on either side for best fit. So a 16″ collar will fit 15″-17″ neck sizes and allow space for the receiver placement.
If your dog is still growing check the “growing dog” option. We’ll start the first hole at the puppy’s current neck size and add 2 extra 1/2″ holes. Ex; puppy’s neck is 16″, the puppy e-collar collar will be from 16″-19″. If you still need more holes, please contact us!

Collar Hardware Information
All of our e-collar dog collars are available in stainless steel.
To prevent the hardware from oxidizing it’s best to dry your product ASAP, and to especially rinse off any saltwater. In the case that your hardware rusts or patinas, we recommend searching Google for the best methods to remove the discoloration (methods are different depending on which metal you chose).
To clean your collar, take a bucket of water (temperature doesn’t matter), and add some dish soap. Then swish the collar around in the bucket, rinse clean and allow to air dry. For more stubborn areas use a gentle wet cloth and rub with a bit soap and rinse clean.
