The Atomic Hound Statement on COVID-19
To my AWESOME customers,
I hope that this note finds you and your families (and your dogs) safe and well. At times like this, I am reminded of how thankful I am to be a part of the dog community, and how how grateful I am for each of my customers (that’s YOU)!
I recognize that as the COVID-19 pandemic spreads, you may feel uncertain about purchasing products online. I want to address any potential concerns you have below.
At this time, The Atomic Hound is fully operational. I can receive and fulfill new orders, add new items, and be active on social media. I am taking proper precautions to ensure the health and safety of all my customers.
I follow the strategies and measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and public health departments related to cleaning, disinfecting, personal precautions etc.
I ship my products nationally and internationally through USPS. The USPS had issued a statement that “the CDC (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/faq.html), the World Health Organization (https://www.who.int/news-room/q-a-detail/q-a-coronaviruses), as well as the Surgeon General have indicated that there is currently no evidence that COVID-19 is being spread through the mail.” You can read the full the full USPS statement on shipping and COVID-19 HERE.
That being said, ultimately, I encourage you to take precautions with your packages as you feel is right for you. If you are concerned, you can wipe down the package with a disinfectant.
**Update on shipping 04/06/20: Due to the disruption in flights, the international postal system is experiencing disruption. As a result there are limitations to certain countries, and certain services are temporarily suspended. We are making the necessary changes in our shop…if you’re still able to checkout it means we’re still shipping to you! Please note that shipping times may be extended because of this! I am constantly up to date on changes regarding COVID-19 and you can be assured that I will make necessary changes in order to be a responsible business owner and member of society.
